Areti Vlastou is a lawyer admitted to practice in Athens, member of the Athens Bar Association and partner of the Firm, promoted to the Supreme Court since July 2009. Her occupation focuses on both consulting and litigation in the fields of labor law (individual and collective labor law, union law, law of trade unions and employers' organizations), civil law (commercial leases, commercial and general contractual disputes, payment orders and seizures) and administrative law (social security law, administrative contracts).

Before becoming a partner of the firm "KERAMEUS & PARTNERS", Mrs. Vlastou, from 01.10.1999, had been a senior associate in the Law Office of Stylianos Germ. Vlastos and, from 01.08.2019, had been a founding member and partner of the law firm under the name "K.D. Gatsios - Α.S. Vlastou & Associates ".

  • She has collaborated with many Greek and foreign commercial enterprises, major companies, which have been awarded contracts in public procurement tenders (with public entities [hospitals and local authorities]) and has many years of experience in drafting and defending lawsuits in all levels of jurisdiction and before the Supreme Court (such as, indicatively, invalid dismissals of high-level executives and trade unionists, signing of new company collective labor agreements, employees’ collective dismissals, compliance with labor and social security legislation in companies, business transfers, restructuring of business units, etc. and has published numerous court decisions in prestigious legal journals (such as the Labor Law Bulletin and the Labor Law Review). She has also participated in negotiations concerning individual and collective labor law, as well as contractual agreements through out-of-court settlement of civil disputes. She has significant judicial experience in cases of administrative and civil law (objections, appeals, annulment appeals, precautionary measures, applications for suspension, etc., in cases with IKA Organization as defendant), in all levels of jurisdiction of the administrative courts, both substantive and annulment, and before the Council of State (on appeal and/or by application for annulment).
  • She is an accredited mediator from the Ministry of Justice.
  • She is actively involved in attending conferences and scientific seminars on an annual basis, in procedural, labor and commercial law.

Mrs. Vlastou is a graduate of:

  • the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Law
  • postgraduate degree in the field of Private Law with specialization in "Labor Law" of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and
  • Scholar of the Athens University of Economics and Business at the Vocational Training Center for the Diploma in Negotiations (D.I.N.) program, 300 hours of attendance, from October 2013 to May 2014.

She speaks Greek (native), English, French and Italian.
